Privacy policy
Depensia holds as little as it needs to show you where your month went. This page says what that is, why, and what you can do about it.
This page was written for a demonstration product and should be reviewed by a legal professional before Depensia is used as a real service.
Who is responsible
Lemoine Agency, the publisher named in the legal notice, is responsible for your data. Write to contact@example.com about anything on this page.
What we hold
Your email address and a scrambled form of your password, to give you an account. When you log in, the sign-in service records the IP address and browser of that session, to keep your account secure. Each expense you add: its amount, category, optional note and date.
What we don't hold
No bank details, no card, no location, no analytics or advertising data.
Why
To show you your own expenses and the figures built from them. Nothing else.
Legal basis
The contract you accept when you sign up (GDPR Article 6(1)(b)): without this data there is no account and no expenses to show you.
Who sees it
Only you. Each account sees its own expenses and no one else's. Your data is not sold, shared or used for advertising.
One provider processes it on our behalf: Supabase, which stores your account and expenses and sends the sign-in emails.
Cookies
Depensia uses only the strictly necessary session cookies that keep you logged in. No trackers, no analytics, no ads, so there is no cookie banner.
Emails
Depensia sends only the emails you ask for: confirming your address and resetting your password. No newsletters, no reminders.
How long
Until you delete your account. Deleting it removes your account and every expense at once, for good.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you can access, correct, delete and take away your data, and object to or restrict its use.
- Erasure: delete your whole account, with every expense, yourself from the Account page, on the web or on your iPhone.
- Correction: edit or delete any expense from the app.
- Access, rectification and portability: write to contact@example.com and you will get an answer within one month.
Complaints
You can also complain to the CNIL, the French data protection authority, at cnil.fr.
